Potassium Perchlorate is the inorganic salt with the chemical formula Kclo4. It is a strong oxidizing agent. It is a color less crystalline solid. It is used in fireworks, ammunition for percussion caps , explosives primers It is also used in propellants, flash composite and sparklers.
Potassium per chlorate is prepared industrially by aqueous solution of sodium per chlorate with potassium chloride.
